With less than a week to go and temperatures at Mount Kosciusko ranging between -1 and 10 degrees Celsius during the night, it’s a real challenge trying to keep the hiking pack below 15kg. We will need to carry at least 9 days of dehydrated food before our food drop and our camera equipment and solar panels for charging. Having researched "light hiking", there is no way around but to wear the same socks for some time. Feeling excited and equally apprehensive!
